Family Coaching

Our family recovery program empowers the loved ones of those suffering from addiction to break free from the influence of alcohol or substance use disorder and begin living joyously with passion and purpose.

Family holding hands and walking together

Having a loved one with a substance use disorder is a daily struggle. It is common to feel undeserving of happiness while witnessing a loved one’s suffering and self-destructive behaviors. Family members feel lost leading to feelings of helplessness, hopelessness and living in a constant state of fear.

Many have forgotten the importance of self-love or even how to care for themselves. Relationships may suffer as time, love, and commitments are no longer given to anyone other than the addicted individual. Life may feel unmanageable and beyond repair.

Our mission through family coaching is to help the participants regain control of their lives, be less consumed by their loved one’s needs, and help with strategies that better serve them and their addicted loved one. Living for or focusing solely on a loved one can lead to anxiety, depression, and exhaustion.

This program is designed for individuals who fear losing their loved one to alcohol or substance use disorder, feel responsible for their loved one, worry about financial security or their own independence and free will. It can be challenging to seek insight and navigate the conflicts that arise because of the disease due to the associated stigma. We provide a platform to gain clarity on handling the disorder and finding personal happiness.

Our empathetic, non-judgmental approach helps the loved ones understand their own lives, passions, and goals. Through an intensive understanding and immersive process, they will learn to differentiate themselves from their loved one and their responsibilities and establish boundaries. This program equips the participants with the tools to manage addiction-related conflicts, plan their own recovery, focus on self-care, and live a fulfilled life, regardless if their loved one is in recovery or actively using substances.

Statistics show that individuals suffering from a substance use disorder have a substantially higher chance of achieving long term recovery when their families are involved in their own recovery program.
